چکیده

Abstract We investigated the stable isotope fractionation of chromium (Cr) for a panorama chondrites, including EH and EL enstatite chondrites their chondrules different phases (by acid leaching). observed that have heterogeneous δ 53 Cr values (per mil deviation Cr/ 52 from NIST SRM 979 standard), which we suggest reflect physical conditions in chondrite accretion regions. Chondrules primitive EH3 (SAH 97096) possess isotopically heavier relative to host bulk chondrite, may be caused by evaporation reduced chondrule-forming region protoplanetary disk. Enstatite show range likely result variable mixing sulfide-silicate-metal phases. The silicate Earth ( = –0.12 ± 0.02‰, 2SE) has lighter composition compared average value (–0.05 2SE, when two samples out 19 are excluded). If originally had isotopic was similar this difference under equilibrium magma oceans on or its planetesimal building blocks, as previously suggested explain magnesium silicon differences between chondrites. Alternatively, chemical can thermal processes solar nebula chondrite-Earth, would also changed parent body precursors.

Stable Chlorine Isotope Reservoirs in Chondrites

Introduction: By analyzing the stable Cl-isotopes of halite from the Zag H-breccia and comparing the results with those from other chondritic materials we can provide new information about isotopes in the early Solar System. In particular Cl-isotope work may complement O-isotope studies. We show for the first time that substantial Cl/Cl fractionation exists between chondrite components. Zag hal...

The Osmium Isotopic Composition of Tagish Lake and Other Chondrites, Implications for Late Terrestrial Planetary Accretion

Introduction: The prevailing models for terrestrial planet origin and differentiation call upon magma oceans generally concurrent with core formation very early during differentiation. Tungsten isotope measurements of Earth and Mars materials are consistent with core formation occurring in terrestrial planets within 30 m.y. or less after the onset of condensation of the solar system [1-4]. In s...

I n t r o d u c t i o n : The study of Ag isotopic compositions is of particular interest because of the extinct radionuclide Pd, which decays to Ag with a half-life of 6.5 Myrs. Compared to the early measurements by TIMS, the use of multi-collector inductively coupled pla...
